Infoniqa builds modular software and service platforms for accounting, payroll and HCM, entirely based on the SaaS model (BPaaS = Business Process as a Service), in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this area, Infoniqa is becoming THE integrated supplier for fully satisfied customers.

In 2017, Sage acquired Intacct and Fairsail. In 2018, Sage launched Sage Business Cloud.

The M-Files adventure began in 2002, when founder and current CEO Antti Nivala began developing document management software with a team of four in the city of Tampere, Finland. The first version of M-Files was launched in 2005, and four years later, the company opened a subsidiary in the United States, in Dallas (Texas).

In 2011, the product shifted towards intelligent information management, and the company’s revenue grew by more than 750% over the next five years. New offices were opened in the UK, France, Germany and Australia, and in 2017, M-Files acquired Apprento, a Canadian company specializing in artificial intelligence. At the same time, M-Files started to transition to a SaaS model.
